How to get a Nirvana client command prompt ?

A client command prompt can be got in the directory in the links directory under the Nirvana install.

The links directory contains three directories that give access to different aspect of Nirvana. The Server, Client and Administration directories. Under each three are native programs relevant that directory.

For example under the Server directory there are specific links to Start and Stop a Nirvana Realm server. Under each directory there is also a command prompt link which will open a window with the Nirvana environmemt set up. From here all sample applications can be run.

Under windows the a command prompt can be opened as choosing the Command Prompt option under the Nirvana folder in the program files menu as follows:

Similarly links are provided for starting and stopping the Nirvana Realm server, setting up sample JMS topics and queues, starting the Nirvana Enterprise Manger GUI, as well as accessing the Nirvana documentation which comes with the package.
