Nirvana 2.0 provides superior
MOM functionality. The new features for version 2.0
are listed below..
New Management API An extremely rich Administration
API has now been added to Nirvana. This allows you to
manage and monitor every aspect of Nirvana.
Each interface to a Nirvana server can be managed
separately. This includes the ability to add, remove,
start, stop or reconfigure the interface in runtime.
This allows you to remotely monitor any addition,
deletions, modifications or accesses to the Nirvana
server.
- Nirvana Administration GUI
A new Nirvana administration tool has been built
using the new administration API.

Enhanced Remote Management GUI
The Nirvana administration GUI has been rewritten exclusively
using the new Management API. Screen
shots are available here.
Enhanced Security
Nirvana now supports message signing and validation for
even tighter application security. The nirvana server
can now have separate SSL certificate assigned to separate
Nirvana Realm interfaces, each one supporting its own
cryptographic algorithms.
JMS1.1 Compatible
Nirvana 2.0 is fully compatible with the latest release
of JMS. Bandwidth Metrics
The Nirvana client API now provides the ability to collect
bandwidth metrics. For example you can now track the number
of bytes sent/received through a particular session.
Topic/Queue Publish Keys
This new feature allows you to specify a key and a depth
that a topic/queue will use to manage events. For example,
if you define a key 'CCY' and a depth of 1, the Nirvana
server will manage the topic/queue such that there will
only be 1 (the depth value) event for each specific value
for 'CCY'. Enhanced Named Subscribers
Providing you with the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe
from a topic/queue using a unique name. The Nirvana server
will automatically keep track of which messages you have
received and pick up from there if you re-subscribe.
Channel Iteration
This supports the synchronous reading of a topic/queue's
events. This supports enhanced navigation through the
events on a channel. For example, methods like getFirst,
getNext, getLast, getPrevious allow you to traverse up
and down the channel on demand.
Multi Language Support
my-Channels provides client API's supporting C, C++, ActiveX
and Java programming languages.
